The Pure Blonde Swim/Run & Aquathlon - Pt Chevalier

Auckland's newest mutlisport event for all fitness levels. The Pure Blonde Swim-Run & Aquathlon Series kicks off at 6.30pm on Thursday 21st October and comprises seven mid-week evening events held throughout Summer and culminates in the 8th and final race, the Inaugural Tri NZ Aquathlon Champs on 27th March 2011.

The Swim-Run Series involves a Swim followed by a Run in and around the beautiful Pt Chevalier beach and parkland. In February the series switches to the Aquathlon format of Run-Swim-Run, offering participants a new challenge and providing a real goal to help build fitness. Each series caters for entry level through to experienced athletes. With over $10,000 in prizes it certainly a series not to be missed.

Entry fees start at $20 for a single race and $120 for the series.

Swim/Run distances: Short (500m swim/2km run), Medium (500m swim/4km run or 1km swim/2km run), Long (1km swim/4km run)
